  • Conduct outreach to deliver HIV prevention messages

  • Support innovative outreach initiatives to educate  HIV infected individuals

Community Missions

  • Teams of doctors and nurses provide health care to the underserved and less privileged in our community.

 

E-Health Community Data Network

 

  • Develop and maintain an ethnocentric data repository  of :

    • Diseases and disorders

    • Habits

    • Treatment outcomes 

    • Drugs and medical laboratory results 

  • Provide periodic statistical analysis to help discover and predict new or hidden ends in diseases by ethnic population distributions

 

Young, Healthy and Beautiful

 

  • Educate, empower, and elevate the youth between ages 10 and 18 by helping them:

    • Accept and respect the natural diversity of the body

    • Eat and reccognize internal cues of hunger satiety and appetite

    • Elaborate on the health benefits of being physically active

Prince George’s County, Md. became a little healthier with the March 6 opening of the new Global Vision Community Health Center in Capitol Heights.

 

In attendance at a news conference and ribbon-cutting event were Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker III, Capitol Heights Mayor Kito James, along with members of the county council, members of the county’s health department, local residents, and representatives of the non-profit organization Global Vision Foundation.

 

“We’re not just politicians,” Brown said. “We really do care about our residents.”
