Prince George’s County, Md. became a little healthier with the March 6 opening of the new Global Vision Community Health Center in Capitol Heights.
In attendance at a news conference and ribbon-cutting event were Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker III, Capitol Heights Mayor Kito James, along with members of the county council, members of the county’s health department, local residents, and representatives of the non-profit organization Global Vision Foundation.
“We’re not just politicians,” Brown said. “We really do care about our residents.”
